Raquel Cabo is a biopharma executive with over 20 years of experience spanning biotech and medtech, with a focus on commercial strategy and operational leadership. She is the Founder of the Miami Biotech Collective, a curated community of biotech leaders advancing connection, visibility, and ecosystem growth in South Florida. Raquel also serves as a strategic advisor, partnering with CEOs and leadership teams to shape strategy and operations that accelerate companies toward critical inflection points.
Previously, Raquel was part of the founding team and the first commercial hire at Ovid Therapeutics, where she spent nearly a decade in roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs & Commercial Strategy. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at GE Healthcare, Medtronic, and Columbia University Medical Center.
Raquel currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Society for Hispanic Rare Diseases and on the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador Council.
She earned a B.A. in Psychology with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in International Health Policy and Health Economics from the London School of Economics.
