Frank Ahmann, co-founder and CEO of XM Therapeutics, is a senior executive with 30+ years of experience in building successful organizations and teams to develop biologics, implantable medical devices, and drugs in the cardiovascular, hematology, and immunotherapy areas. He planned and grew start-up companies including Chimeric Therapies, Allvivo Vascular, LoneStar Heart, and MateraCor (sold to Bioventrix) following a decade in management positions at Baxter Healthcare's Biotech and Cardiovascular Groups. He is a native Spanish, German, and English speaker with strong ties to the European biomedical markets. He has raised more than $80 million in five start-up ventures. Frank holds a BBA with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
