Mr. Hargrove is the CEO and Co-founder of InterAct Therapeutics, a serial entrepreneur, and a venture capitalist with a proven track record of driving early-stage science toward high-value exits. He notably co-founded Cancer Insight and Trauma Insight, both of which were acquired in 2021.
Previously, as CEO of Emtora Biosciences, Mr. Hargrove transitioned a lead candidate from the laboratory into Phase II trials, secured over $20M in CPRIT funding, and orchestrated a strategic licensing deal with Bioxexa Pharmaceuticals. His strategic perspective is further informed by his role as a Partner at Third Coast Healthcare Ventures and his board service for NEA-backed Slope.io and clinical intelligence firm Telperian, Inc.
A retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel (reserve) who served on active duty with the 82nd Airborne Division and 10th Mountain Division, Mr. Hargrove brings mission-focused leadership to the biotech sector. At InterAct, he leverages his unique "founder-investor" lens to advance therapeutic R&D and forge the strategic partnerships necessary to shape the future of innovation.
